ANZAC Poems

Yellow is the colour of the sun shining on the soldiers faces.

Green is the colour of the grass underneath the soldiers feet.

Red is the colour of the poppies that grew over the great soldiers bodies.

Blue is the colour of oceans the soldiers sailed their battleships on.

Grey is the colour of the of the cloudy skies on the cold, wet nights.

Brown is colour of the steep mountains they had to walk up and down to fight for our country.

Red is the colour of the soldier’s blood coming from their wounds

Orange is the colour of the flames on the fire

Gray is the colour of the smoke in the sky

Blue is the colour of the sea

Sliver is the colour of the medals that they won.

Gold is the colour of honorable medal for people who served our country

Red is the blood filling the trenches and the front lines and also the anzac poppy

Grey is the smoke coming from the fired artillery

Green is the soldiers jackets getting passed on to the families

Brown is the muddy boots the soldiers had at the war.
