Wednesday - By Trinity

On Wednesday the Year 8’s went to Mt Holdsworth and the Year 7’s went to to Whaea Michelle’s class for the whole day.  We learnt how to use a compass.  Then we had to buddy up with someone before we used the compass.  Then when we buddied up we went and made a trail.  Then we had to find someone else to do our trail and we had to do the trail they had made. So this is how we did it; we put down, on paper, how many foot steps we did. So lets say I did five foot steps North, then they will have to do the five steps North. After the trails were finished we got to eat lollies during class.  Then at the end of the day we did a draw. So if people were being good they got their name into the draw and if your name got pulled out you got to get a ‘Timeout Bar’.   There were five Timeout Bars.   Here are the names of who got pulled out Jayden ,Emma, Rosin, Jessika and me.  Then after we did the draw we all went to the Park and after we came back from the park it was 5 minutes to 3, so while we waited and we did some skipping until home time. Then when the bell rang we all got to go home.

• It felt so good being in Whaea Michelle's class all day. She is the loveliest teacher ever.
