2015 Rippa Rugby Tournament

On Thursday the 27th of August 2015 some students in Years 3-8 from Carterton School, went to Carrington Park to play rippa rugby against other schools in a tournament.

Firstly the other school(South End and Saint Marys) met us at Carrington park. Then we went straight to our 1st game. When we were at the first game the refs explained the rules of rippa. Through out the day we played 6 games in total.

During the breaks we could visit the shop - which was selling ice blocks, lollipops and chocolate or we could cheer on other team or rest ready for the next game.

After the 6th game we had the finals. Carterton 2 (Y7-8) played Saint Mary's 1. Carterton 1 (Y5-6) played South End 1. Carterton 1(Y3-4) played South End 2. Carterton won all of the finals.

The tournament was a fun day, and we look forward to all play it again next year.
