We will be having our camp parent meeting this Wednesday – the 18th at 7pm in Room 14.  We would like all parents who are coming as helpers to camp – to come along, as it is important we are all aware of camp expectations.  If you would like to know anything about camp, please feel free to come along, even if you are not coming as a parent helper.

School Talent Quest

Talent Quest - Have you started practicing for Carterton School Talent Quest?

Your Kahikatea will be holding auditions before the final Talent Quest.  The final Talent Quest is on 9 December and your whanau are invited to this.

Year 8 Leavers Dinner and Dance

A notice came home yesterday (or today) outlining the Year 8 Leavers Dinner and Dance.  The slip at the bottom needs to be filled in and returned to Mrs MacGregor by Friday 20th November. Thank you.

El Rancho Forms

4 El Rancho forms came home from school today along with a camp note.

Please read this note, fill in all four forms completely and return them to school before Friday 20th.

We are having a Camp Meeting on Wednesday 18th at 7pm in Room 14. 
All parents and students are welcome to attend.

Pie Order Pick Up

Tomorrow - Thursday 12th November 
2:30 until 5:30 from the school hall.

Year 7's EOTC Day is cancelled

If the Year 7 students have paid for this EOTC day then the money will be put on their El Rancho Camp fees. If the El Rancho Camp fees are already paid in full then we will reimburse the $25 EOTC money.

Any questions please ask either Mrs Kennedy or me.

We are giving receipts for camp fees paid to us.

Athletics Information

Athletics day on Monday 9 Nov:

Wear house colours

Bring packed lunch and snacks, water bottle

Wear hat and sunscreen

Ask your whanau if they coming down to watch 

Whaea Jo needs a few more adult helpers

We start at 9:30 and finish after 2.

Changes for Tomorrow

The Year 7 EOTC day has been postponed until the 12th November due to the forecast of rain.

Tomorrow (4th November) Room 12 will be going to release the trout with Room 7.  Bring Gumboots and a rain jacket.

Dear Students, Parents and Whanau

Camp El Rancho Information

As you are aware all of Year 7 and 8 students are off to Camp El Rancho in Week 7.  Camp El Rancho is situated at 25 Kauri Road, Waikanae and it has been an excellent venue for very successful camps for us in the past. The dates for the camp are Tuesday 24th November to Friday the 27thNovember – Week 7, Term 4.  This will be Tuesday through to Friday, 4 days and 3 nights.  We propose to leave at around 9.15 on Tuesday the 24th and return around 2.30 on Friday the 27th November.

Here is the list of Parents who have been chosen to come to camp.  If you are on our list and are now unable to come to camp, can you please let us know ASAP as we have other parents who would like to come.
